New website compares products by energy use

A friend of mine has just a launched a new website YourEko which allows you to compare products  -- a wide range including refrigerators, breadmakers, TVs and set top boxes, lawn mowers ... -- by their energy use. It ranks devices in a category by how much energy they need to run, so you can easily see which is most efficient. For example it shows  tumble dryers ranked from the lowest energy (2.2 kWh/cycle, estimated cost £42/year) to highest (5.12 kWh, costing  £98/year). The data is scraped off the retailers' websites. Do take a look if you are considering buying anything - and give him feedback if you found it useful or not.
